6-8ft if your SW aus. Sick shot of a heavy spot. Whats that american dude on? Probably a weird fish pop out and white water.

I am planning a surf trip to Ireland based on this photo, what is the whore situation over there?

Looks insane. I'm sure the lads out the back paid heavily for any bomb they did get. Remember though, this' the first time in a looong time that this place has looked anything like this... important point if you're thinking of travelling, you could get skunked for months at a time, even in winter.
sponger Dunlop Oct 8, 2011 Rating: 0
This was the first time I was in Bundy, the first time I saw Pampa and it was the only wave I didnt attempt to surf that trip..
Harv Oct 6, 2010 Rating: 0
ASP needs to stop farting about with random cold spots and come to Bundoran instead...

...and now I understand why "Mac" is the prefix to many Irish surnames...

"Mc" originates from "mac". Its Gaelic for son. And everyone hates everyone on the internet. :)
Jamie Snook Oct 9, 2010 Rating: 3
.. no everyone just hates the stupid yanks
ahinalu Oct 7, 2010 Rating: -3
-"...and now I understand why "Mac" is the prefix to many Scottish surnames..." FYP Not so long ago you'd get your ass kicked for making that mistake. Now days everyone just hates the English. LOL

It's actually Mc, but we'll let you away with that one

sandandrocks Oct 11, 2010 Rating: 0
blah blah blah yadda yadda yadda, this is a decent size and hollow wave, anyone out there near the peak has reasonable size balls in my opinion!!!
MAXIMUS_SURF Oct 11, 2010 Rating: 0
Look dude/know nothing.. UK and Ireland have some of the gnarliest spots in the world. example aileens, reillys.. waves you couldnt surf at 2ft. So dont bother dissing our waves and surfers until you can surf a beach break let alone a reef. Im a grom and i reckon i could surf better than you
devondipper Oct 10, 2010 Rating: 0
Why not put your money where you mouth is Slaterwanab, this site is all about posting pictures of surf; so lets be seeing one of you on a double overheader! You're all piss and wind as me old man would say...
ahinalu Oct 7, 2010 Rating: 5
I'm pretty sure the "haha" at the end means he was being sarcastic. But seriously, you guys are getting into a pissing match over who has the biggest surf? All that needs to be said is that wave is serious and looks like a effing rush to surf. I'm just glad they're paddling in, respect for that alone (especially these days, it's almost like surfing's become a motorized sport).
www.inishowensurfschool.com Oct 6, 2010 Rating: 2
I have surfed that wave a bit and almost every time I arrived in the car park there was blood comming out of some dude the had just hit the bottom , its very shallow and at that size there it demands alot o respect hence there only being 3 dudes out . Pussies my ass
Dec_88 Oct 6, 2010 Rating: -2
yeah but you all wear suits in summer, and hoods, gloves and booties in winter (I assume you're from California since most other US surfers are cool) when you really don't need to. You guys got soft. And Ireland has way better spots than the US, cause they're not full of crappy (I have respect for the talented ones) longboarders who take off way out the back and ride the shoulder cause they can't do much else. Rant over
alejjak Oct 6, 2010 Rating: -4
really ?! last time i checked we actually made this sport popular and gave it the name, and yeah we get even bigger waves over here ... not even counting Hawaii's monsters
sheady09 Oct 6, 2010 Rating: -1
i agree, well said
gemini Oct 6, 2010 Rating: 2
so easy to to talk, so hard to do... you dont get too many proper waves like that in the US so guess you just havent a clue... this particular ex-secret spot will kick your ass at 4ft, and thats a solid one too!
WET NIPS Oct 5, 2010 Rating: 6
I would like to see u say that to the "3" Irish "pussies" hmmmm didnt think so....so keep ur pointless comments to yourself.
