was there too last year on a day like that, came off the top of the wave and put my knee through my face lol. a nice black face when i got out of water. it can certainly get you good

East can punish you, the Tuesday afternoon following this was real heavy too,some of the sets just buried everyone in sight.worth it when you get a wave like this comin' through though!!

i remember being up near the wall there around this time last year, i was on my paddle out back and one of those came thru and annihalated everyone bar some dude on a surfboard/canoe type thing. he came down the face so hard he near landed right on top of me. a good day was had by all tho
