in my opinion, there should be a surf contest held dedicated to the memory of Andy Irons. i never knew him personally, but was always amazed at his approach to surfing with such power and no fear. The contest should be of fun and memory, so therefore no cash winnings. All for respect.

When I heard the news I was sad man... Andy's death is so heavy but at the same time he would want us to rip harder and just enjoy surfing for the love s he said... I just wanna go charge for Andy!!!

For what its worth I my take is 1)love your wife/kids/family/friends/world right now and always cos you just never know... and 2) don't die with your music inside - go big, be yourself, charge life, never back down.
