Hey Chris, the comment wasn't all that bad, just a Sponger wittering on about how bodyborders were probably the 1st guys to ride this spot... There's alot worse comments on some of the other threads at the mo, I also saw that the comment was hidden but it seemed to give me the choice of reading it earlier. Hope you feel in the loop now. ;)

I don't understand what in your comment justified it being voted down so low. I am a surfer by heart and I am often irritated by bodyboarders who bodyboard because they can't stand on a wave, but I'm just as much irritated by surfers who can't surf, so I understand that both sports take skill, and although it is easier to ride a wave straight on a bodyboard than it is to ride a wave straight on a surfboard, that doesn't mean that on a more advanced level either one takes more skill than the other. A surfer would find it difficult to do a barrel roll just as much as a bodyboarder would find it difficult to do a fins out re-entry. I must say that when I see a bodyboarder get barreled while in DK, I am more amazed than when I see a surfer get a similar barrel.
