its like the entrance to a fair ride - if your rocks are as big as these then on you go

You see the guy with the surf board on the titas (island that looks like a gaint pair of chilian tits), well thats the first part of the mission, getting accross to La Titas. Then you make your way around and in between them and wait and wait and wait until you see a break in the ocean. When it finally happens you give it shit run to the edge jump in and just give it hell until you reach saftey. Theses waves are powerful and when its this big you better know what you are doing....I lived in Santiago for 2yrs, I was on this wave every weekend you get the right one and you are in for a 3-5min ride......love this photo....love that place...

In a nice wsw swell u can literally jump of the rock and be in the take of section, this must have been a sws or as south as possible, that is why breaks behind the tits. This is my favorite surfing spot of the world and I can tell u I live in cape town, sydney, surf indo several times, etc. This is place is its best day is a 20 + second barrels. Amazing place!!!

this place is just like Hazard NZ described. It's so powerful, plenty of people get scraped in the channel just to get to the launch. Once there you've got to time it spot on to get out back. Plenty get bowled over by the oncoming wave. Take a breather. Prepare for the ride of your life wrapping all the way to the beach with your thighs burning!!!!!!!!!

3-5min? What's the walk like back to your vehicle? I assume you don't paddle. The guy that runs a local surf shop in my area has surfed Chile. He talked about having to walk back a mile to the take-off point after some rides. This is all inconceivable to me. A 20 second ride and I'm in heaven. 5 minutes? There is no way to describe how cool that would be - although I doubt I could make it out to this break.

I feel like this is the second Chilean wave where I have to second-guess the height...15-18? I feel like it's another 7ft on top of that...you guys need to give yourselves more credit haha

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha 7ft ?? Dude I am not even Chilean... I am just someone who is always looking for THE BIG WAVES, and Punta de Lobos is def my favorite spot at South America. This wave is way ahead of what you can handle and believe me when I tell you that. This place handles up to 35ft and this wave have nothing less than 16ft. Guaranteed. Google XXL Punta Lobos. Look it closer to this picture and you can see Ramon Navarro climbing the rocks with his surfboard, which was at least an 8'0''. Compare his size to that wave... Areee uuuu craaaazyyyy ?????
