Excellent shot Mark! Personally I could never get bored of seeing waves like these. I'm glad that there isn't more 'original' footage, sort of gives the game away really, like a beautiful left I found at the weekend :) keep posting quality shots like these any day.

Well mate if you look at any surf spot (for instance teahupoo) most of the photos in the sequence will look similar making it recognizable as that spot, so no difference here. This is why I am implying that you may be jealous because of your negative outlook on an awesome wave, a wave of the calibre that is not as often seen on the UK coast, not that ye dont have good waves there, but I am just defending an Irish gem. (actually now I am wondering why I am defending this gem as the photos are pretty much self explanatory) OK, now I am rambling..........

Looking at this pic reminds me of the fear I felt when I got slammed on Bournmouth beach by a 1.5ft wave ( im not kiddin!) I was only 3 years old riding a blow up ring and trust me it... It looked just like that! It was big. Infact my adrenaline levels are so high now my heart is about to eject my rib cage.

The Japanese must not have waxed their surfboards in time.

I don't think your comment should have been voted below threshold. And I'm going to say something that is going to make mine voted even lower, but I don't care. FUCK the Japanese. The Japanese kill dolphins and whales. They make use of nuclear power. The cut of the fins of sharks and throw back the rest of the animal to die, for shark fin soup. They eat dolphin meat!!! They have the highest suicide rate in the world because in their culture, if you dishonour your superior, you are supposed to kill yourself. So every time a kid gets bad grades, someone gets fired, or gets turned down a job, they kill themselves. It is a nation that is to scared to stand up for themselves and for what is right. I say the ones who are decent, with a respect for nature and life, will either be spared, or go to heaven if they die. BUT, the rest are going to go to hell. There is a reason they got hit by a tsunami, nature is fighting back. God ALWAYS has a plan, and he DOES know what he is doing, and he DOES control nature. The Japanese got this coming for a long time. If they don't change their act, they will just keep getting hit by natural disasters.
