Not a new wave as such. It's been the subject of a few photo features since last summer when Antony Colas first surfed it. He told us that we would have to wait for the video. I suppose this is it. Roll on April 11th.

We are just back from surfing a similar wave in the Brazlian Amazon river, and in our case we our about 2 or 3 Km from the river month. So I assume it is the same in this river. Normally this type of wave works on tide change with the ocean water pushing down the river... it is a sick ride!

I watched the vid, and I kept thinking, "What the feck?!?!". It's ridonkulous! Not only does Indo have the best reefs in the world, it's now got the best tidal bore! Where's the fair play, King Neptune? WHERE'S THE FAIR PLAY?
