I lived here for a year while in school. While not as popular as Mundaka, it could really turn on. There were some areas more prone to spongers, but for the most part a really chill surf scene.

Dude, that sponger is getting more barrelled than you ever where. I'm a surfer, not a sponger, and I'll tell you, get the fuck out. I hate people who hate waveriders who use another craft. (Except if you are talking about idiots on SUP's and waveski's. If they can control the stuff, I have no problem, but sadly so many idiots take it up because it is easy to catch a wave on the stuff, but then end up endangering everyone else in the water.) This guy knows what he is doing, and is getting pitted. No reason to be a hater.
