...you underestimate the PUSH of a 9' board when you are on the nose...the speed sections you make and control are unlike anything on short boards...this would only mean something if you surf.

Took a trip here two years back, the bay just around the headland from La Torche, i think its called "Pors Cairn" or something similar, can get a great wave on it with the right winds and swell, heavy too, fractured my chin on what can't have been more than a 6ft day. Was pretty gutted for the rest of the trip it has to be said.
