Coming back in on the right-hand side of the bay can put you straight on the rocks in front of the YHA. If you can't find a clean right to ride back to the centre of the bay you tend to get pushed onto the corner.

I've always seen it but never bothered giving it a go, normally because there are other sure bets for low tide and a good swell! What coming back in like?

The rip from the beach takes you out to the right of the reef. It can be a really good left on a low tide.
