Forget the sharks. The locals are the ones to worry bout down there. You have to be careful with a camera with those nuts.

Yeh ..... everywhere in Australia has SHARKS ,all the reefs , rock-shelfs , river-mouths and beaches . - go to Anna Bay , north of Stocton Bch (Newcastle) you can watch Great Whites swimming thru the line-up on a clear day , or up at Fraser Is. watch Tigers and Bronzies and Whites (in winter) from the cliffs , same for Nth Straddie , and i hear West Oz is no better too . You just don't worry about 'em otherwise you wouldn't SURF .
