Looks like the surfer has a panicked "im about to nosedive" kind of approach. What he needs to do here is perch both feet on the nose and add a nice soul arch to his lower back to really nail the photo. With the level of surfing today, it cant be considered a true nose ride unless all 10 toes are hanging the nose

Looks like you're a tool. Even if he was thinking he was going to nose dive, how is sticking the other foot on the nose going to help apart from accelerate him into the dive!! Great photo though.
