I surfed there on January 6th 2006... the sea temp was similar to UK Summer... the guys at Mitch's and the local hire shop thought I was mad to be going in in my summer suit... hopefully be there again in 2012

haha... I was in SD County for this swell, real fun waves. Amazingly there were some guys out wearing booties, the water was 19c I think. They'd have a heart attack surfing a UK winter, followed by chronic depression
