I will always remember Hurricane Leslie... I will remember my 1st pilgrimage up to the Outer Banks, scoring flawless 1st jetty at Cape Hatteras, Getting huge hollow barrels at S Turns and returning to Folly beach to find my home break the washout firing at its finest. But most of all I will always remember the scar I earned at the washout reminding me that as much joy as these hurricane swells bring me, at any moment they can completely humble me.
