I was stoked to see some swell coming, and was eager to get one last good shot of the Jet Star roller coaster before it will be torn down next week. I waited for the winds to switch offshore, grabbed my gear and a short drive later I was trying to dodge the State Troopers, and local police who have been patrolling since the hurricane. I wedged myself in between a sand dune and the remains of a shore store where the boardwalk once stood. I knew that this would be my last chance to get this shot. I waited for the sets to roll in while cops whizzed by on quads. I hope this photo shows everyone the destruction that NJ endured, and we are a strong group of people who will overcome this hurdle.
