This is not actually Biscarosse Plage. Its the mascaret which is a tidal river wave similar to the severn bore in england.

Silky smooth is one thing, but it's strange how the waves in that set are stacked up so tightly together. It's almost like it's wake from a big freighter. Fondly, this is one of only a few places in Europe that I have surfed. Maybe not as good as further south, but a very beautiful beach.

That's silky smooth... I would surf that any day over big and choppy
