you will never get clean water in porthcawl, sadly the severn is an industrial river, i saw a mutant frog at sker once

Like JackH said the river Severn is full of silt, which is of course dangerous. Many people have had to be recused because they've got stuck in the silt, unfortunately a few has even died at Burnham/Uphill. Yeah there are industries polluting the river, but silt is the main problem.

it is the silt in the estuary but some blue water wouldnt go a miss sometimes in porthcawl. and of couse there is indeed "the tube" in the beach along the way thats just been put into use again ahah

looks like its next to a river mouth. I live in Hawaii and after a good rain sometimes the water may look like that for a couple of days. That wave looks fun, minus the wetsuit.

Yer! I love surfing but theres no way Id paddle out in shit, piss and mashed up bog roll. If I wanted to do that Id have my head down the kazzi.
