THIS is what they should hold a big wave contest in. That "big wave contest" in the summer was a joke. All because there will be more people? Come on. THIS is a REALLY, REALLY big wave, and this is what the contest should be run in. That other contest was an insult to Britians big wave surfing scene.

Again, we've all explained the reason why the first contest was held at the end of the summer to Francois but he just ain't listening. By the way Francois, if you're such a sissy (as you mentioned on another of your threads) how on earth did you take a photo of Teahupoo during one of the biggest swells ridden. I fear it's not YOUR photo.

You really are a penis. The Goldrush contest was held on the biggest day forecast for when the contest was organised. The conditions are good at the Cribbar only a few times a year and obviously not at the time of the contest. Clearly a 'not so big wave' contest really has scarred you deeply!

Nothing about this photo makes me scream, "Damn, I wish I was there!"

As it's feb water would be about 7-8 deg. There's a set following that wave, thats going to try & drown this guy, when he stops running. There rocks about 50yards in front of him. the only good new is the photogrpher is there to call the coastguard. Looks like a perfect day out to me. (er not)
