i dont know about all that, that acually looks kind of dangorous, you will be rideing the wave over cars and tress and shit once it engulfs the island. more power to the one who rides it though.

I'm pretty sure this is an old picture of a rogue wave shot by local hungry bay resident, Goeffrey Bell. He was lucky enough captured the rogue wave breaking out at sea, it's shot from his house and shot across Hungry bay, in the foreground is a well known right 'reef' break. I think this pic taken in the 80's - and sorry, nobody surferd it (or sponged it for that matter)....but it's a 40-60ft wave...

"also could this be on the same reef that is making the whitewater in the top left of "lakens" photo from the same place in bermuda???" sadly its not. That photo is not of bermuda, are beach breaks look a lot different than that. I believe two guys surfed it, ummm one was a bodyboarder and the other a surfer, the bodyboarder dislocated his arm wen he wiped out and went like 10-15 feet to the bottom and hit it

Wow. I've always wondered about the surf in Bermuda since it just sits out there in open ocean 600 miles to the East of us. (Virginia, U.S.) Awesome photo. Wouldn't try it. Not even close.
