Prosurfer and Surville, you seem like very bitter people. I have not seen you make a positive comment so far. Are we able to vote them off, as although I can ignore their immature banter, it would be easier not to have to see their infantile and prejudiced comments.

prosurfer, whatever that is, do you shoot photos? are you a hater? what? i'll just show what i do but i don't think i claim anything here. i've seen shitloads of good photos from there, this only one of my takes, so if you don't agree with couple hundred of other guys then something must be really wrong somewhere. everyone has an opinion though. i'm sure my work's not for everyone, but hey, how we can keep everyone happy? why don't you post something of your own and then i'll post something i didn't want to post here because i planned to make some coin out of it? how does that sound for you? it's time to step up, boy.

AMAZING PICTURE. i would love to be there it looks beautiful. you are an amazing photographer you should be getting $1,000,000 for this pic, especially for the hard work you put into it, and especially for if you didnt make it out and you crashed at the end or somethin. this is my new desktop background. very inspiring picture!
thanks a lot for a nice words. actually, it's not that complicated to do a such a shot, no dramas for going over the falls as long as you are not too high on a face. have to be at the bottom and trust that it'll hold it's shape and folds over nice and clean.
40, WOW!! That shot is the best tube shots i have seen from Teahupo. Backdrop is sic. So what magazine do you work for? If not you definitely should, Great portfolio. MSW doesn't know how good they have it with you. Keep em coming.
What an awesome shot, especially at such a critical position. Would love to know how you bailed from this, but deffinately one of the best shots ive seen in a very loooong time.
Agreed, the mountain backdrop helps make this pic a complete classic. We never see pics from inside the gaping maw of this wave, they say its so shallow, and pulls so hard off the reef that swimming under when it holds any size is nearly impossible.
I think 40 is actually an extremely talented ex-navy dolphin with a camera strapped on his ass, trained by "the man from atlantis" and "the silver surfer" and given the purpose of showing us all how the sea and those who surf on it are so incredibly cool. Keep it up flipper!
