You can see why it breaks that long when its big coming from the ENE. It just keep breaking all alomg the nottom of the bank.

thats so sweet, 300yard left!!! i hope that some swell comes in the next month or so cus i will def check it out. but ill keep it secret haha sounds like it isnt a problem anyway
I'm still surprised that almost nobody surfs here. I know that when its working here its also working elsewhere but when it goes off here its pretty damn special. I'm almost always all alone out there. When its big and the bank is working....easy 300 yard rides....even longer. The taboo of naming spots just doesn't apply....never anyone here. In the last year of paddling and surfing it at least a couple days per week I've only seen a few kiters here and there, the occasional windsurfer, and once or twice a couple of surfers for an hour or so. Even on the days when the surf has been awesome...nobody home.
That vid was sick! haha looked like a struggle. cool that you went out in that. I had an awesome day in sandwich i will post some pics. I found a left that would be a 150 yards if it got the right swell. but its a PERFECT left. Anyway i will be back around there over christmas break. hopefully some swell will hit the BAY!
Should be working tomorrow 11/26. Looks like the swell should be coming in ENE with a nice offshore. Keeping my fingers crossed. I'll bring the camera. Here's an October nor'easter here..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOmZung9fv4
I'm from the area and figured never to see anything from around here on this is site. I'll toss up a few shots from the beach right next door for everyone.
