actually coolum is a nice quite beach community. It is not one of the more popular surf spots here in the southeast corner of queensland. mostly beach breaks so there are plenty of peaks to be had. and not the micks and joels you find more of down the coast. If you are not pro, it is one of the many spots I recommend for a stay. cool people with an easy going attitude. nice cafe's and live music at night. (if you are pro, go do battle at snapper or burleigh)

Besides the fact you can see how far out the waves are breaking... yeah.

You know, the other possibility is that the wave is actually a 0.5ft wave breaking on the shore, and this guy is really good at photographing them. I mean, have you ever seen those perfect little mini waves breaking on the shore and wished it was a 4ft'er.

ah, that is true, and its likely that some of these waves from Greenroom aren't that well known. Many of them seem to differ in size and shape as if they are at different spots. But, that could just be my perception.

They might not be in a known place... just cause Coolum is, doesn't mean thats where the photo was taken. Could be a few miles away in a secret spot.

Again, Collum, a great wave, a great pic by green room, yet no person even attempting this wave. Like I've said before, apparently people have no freakin clue how nice they have it. In Maryland this wave would be contested by at least six dudes. I can't believe this many perfect waves are going unridden in a such a well known place..... it kinda makes me wanna puke.
