hey monk surf, did you actually go to the website, or are you commenting on what you have not even looked into. I did go to the site, in fact the place was featured in SURFER magazine and a couple of the pics posted here on MSW were also in the magazine, and I mean THE EXACT pics -I have a copy of the issue btw. Perhaps you actually need to look into what you are talking about.

Hey Ishmael, as long as we are ruining it for people like you, thats all that matters. Have a big, salty, american tea bag, right on your chin.

west monster i think you might be the uninformed one. most hostels around nicaragua charge like $6 per night. if these guys were really surfers and not just american businessmen they wont open a nice hostel where you could pit a tent or a hammock for a few bucks and have some nice rooms for those who wanna pay around $20. then real surfers could go and enjoy this wave.

ya monk surf is right nobody should go there...ever...so ya don't go..leave that for the locals..and me...unless you stay at popoyo surf lodge, best lodge around ever, all inclusive-boats, pools, food, drinks, internet, amazing beds, and best of all its surrounded by the best breaks in nicaragua and they ALWAYS have good waves. And it isn't even that expensive, when i was there i surfed this wave(was about half the size, but still just a top to bottom barrel.

Clearly ishmael doesn't know what hes talking about, ignorant, uninformed and bigoted. And for those of you that think this place is too expensive I went to the site and if I remember correctly the $4,000-some price tag, if split 8 ways (the full amount they can accomidate) it comes to about $500 some bucks a person...not exactly breaking the bank for a weeks stay.

Earning dollars yeah, earning pesos, or whatever their currency is around central and south american countries, no, its very expensive mate, unless you are sort of rich. That's fucked up, that's exclusive to the so called "1st world countries". Gringos charging gringo prices in latin places, fucked up... (By gringo a I mean foreign, don't get offended, let the people who can't pay that amount get offended).
