Stale fish is either a genious or a kook. Both i recon. Good wind up. Hope for his sake and his own mental psyche he rips....
Squammy1220 Nov 4, 2008 Rating: 1

crunchycruiser352 Nov 4, 2008 Rating: -1
no one's with you stale flush, no one
whb324 Nov 3, 2008 Rating: 4
stalefish, its funny that you used the same exact retarded comment on two different pics. whats even funnier is that you think you can surf here after openly admitting that youve only been surfing part time for 2 years, on a bic no less. classic.
bazza Nov 3, 2008 Rating: -2
I have stickybumps cool water wax and webbed gloves. If stalefish was out there with me we would charge it! (joke; SF is a twat)
soutie Nov 3, 2008 Rating: -1
hahaha stale fush, you had us for a while. not such a good comedy act though. nice sense of ridicule, but lacking wit. right up there with my cream pie. whohehehaha. p.s. get a new sidekick, king of the dings has no class
Shorey Nov 3, 2008 Rating: -4
Wow sorry, booties and a rashie, man you are so ready for Dungeons, my bad. I have flippers and wrist leash maybe I am ready for 10ft Waimea shorey.
stale fish Nov 3, 2008 Rating: 0
Look I've surfed east coast Jersey Shore hurricane swell, I've got booties a rashie, boardies and a hoody. Great Whites don't scare me, I surf through phantom chop on an onshore day. I surf part time, i'd say i'm getting pretty good. I own a bz bic board. But I'm all about big guns and volcom, merricks, mr. zogs,i have the same traction pad as pARKO! I'm no expert but ... I think i can handle Dungeons.....Who's with me?
crunchycruiser352 Nov 3, 2008 Rating: 23
stalefish got a big mouth, only way he'd make a drop like that's on his face! hats off to the charger for sure

Maver Rick Nov 2, 2008 Rating: 4
A hook for a hand... only the best fecking town in appendage in the world!
Mary_hinge Nov 2, 2008 Rating: 24
Watched a paddle in sesh at dungeons on a bus the other day!! Hats off to you guys, any fool who can stand up can be towed in, but it takes skill, fittness and balls like king kong to use your arms!! Save the CO2 and get paddelling!!!
stale fish Nov 2, 2008 Rating: 12
Surfing is the ultimate spontaneous natural medium. Whether it be a mushy close out afternoon or a hollow glassy ledgy wave...There is one thing for sure. Groms needs to stay in check. Groms are groms for a reason. They need to accept that it takes time to smack the lip dig in your rail, cutback, spray the lineup, lean back on your traction pad...stall and form your body into the barrel. Once in the barrel you are going to need to pump..hard. This stuff doesn't happen overnight. If you get closed out...You are going to be caught inside. GET USED TO IT!!! Take one on the head. Duck dive or if long boarding turn-turtle. Your leash is your lifeline. If you get sucked over the falls just let yourself go. Follow your leash up to the surface. When the shi'% hits the fan "keep paddling" take another on the head. I didn't write the book..... but I live by it.
captain hook Nov 2, 2008 Rating: 14
i on the otherhand, have only one hand. i stuggle with popups, so generally stick to towin
captain hook Nov 2, 2008 Rating: 3
stalefish could definately make it. hes a fecking fish. they can breath under water...
Will Nov 2, 2008 Rating: 4
Yo mo fuckahs! dont group every American into the same group, it makes you just as bad. I know i wouldnt even get in the water over there and can admit to that
stale fish Nov 1, 2008 Rating: 1
I still think i could make the drop.
Shorey Nov 1, 2008 Rating: -1
It is the spot in the picture
stale fish Nov 1, 2008 Rating: 4
where is dungeons?
Shorey Nov 1, 2008 Rating: 0
Please stale fish, go and surf Dungeons and then we wont have to listen to your stupid comments anymore. If the wave doesnt get you the Great Whites I am sure will have no problem obliging. They dont hold Big Wave africa at this spot for fun, it is a seriously heavy, big dangerous wave. Dont think that a still shot will tell you everything you need to know about a wave.
Shorey Nov 1, 2008 Rating: 13
It makes me laugh to think that you guys can tell everything about a spot or a wave from still photography. A photo gives no indication of how heavy or fast this wave is. Go to dungeons and watch this wave in action and then tell me it is easy to ride. Then go out and tell me that the water isnt effing freezing and the ever present danger of great white sharks doesnt scare you. Anyone with the balls to ride dungeons deserves huge respect instead of stupid comments.
Ed Stogdale Nov 1, 2008 Rating: 0
haha, you nutter! Its not all about the drop, its about the fact that hes out in shark infested waters PADDLING IN to 40 ft + waves. and if he bails hes fucked. You didnt consider what you would do when and if you did make it down that mountain of a face. Idiot.
parlementia Nov 1, 2008 Rating: -3
haha so american, you guys could make it into any drop right? even after oen day of surf! mate its a big wave and it takes a minimum of guts and surfing skills to do that, stop being so arrogant.
stale fish Nov 1, 2008 Rating: 11
no big deal...Its big I'll give you that..but give me a break. I have only been surfing two years and I could prob make that drop. Not being cocky...just saying...I bet he is using a pwc!! haha
harveywallbanger Oct 31, 2008 Rating: 0
This guys got more nuts than all of you comment dropping nobs put together, and El Incompetan', 1 posting new user, you have no idea how scary it is even paddling around in that water, AND youre a kneeboarder, ha ha enough said.

captainnesta Oct 28, 2008 Rating: 1
man, what a drop
Pierre Hugo Oct 28, 2008 Rating: -1
catfish, not sure how long it took, probably more than 6 seconds.. the bump does not cause too juch trouble on this wave.the length of the board made him fly right over it before it developed properly. Personally this is my favourate picture i took during the event. Just INSANE how big the wave actaully is!
westmonster Oct 28, 2008 Rating: 0
Holy jeebus, look at the size of the bump hes on. If you take your eye off of him and just concentrate on the wave the bump almost looks inconsequential. But, then when you see how its projecting his board off the wave and affecting the entire weight ratio on his deck it becomes a bit more crucial. They're always talking about those chops on big waves. They say we (small wave riders) have no idea how ridiculous they are just from looking at pics and video. But from this here shot, it kinda gives you a new perspective.
Squammy1220 Oct 28, 2008 Rating: 2
Wow...so much for not crapping in your wetsuit.
Rito Oct 28, 2008 Rating: 0
El Capitan Oct 28, 2008 Rating: 2
Shoulder hopping ponce. Get in the pocket or get outta my face!
Clive vdRiet Oct 28, 2008 Rating: 4
And the amazing thing is that these guys paddle into these monster waves according to the articles in ZigZag magazine that did a feature on this Red Bull competition. That can be shown by the length and shape of the surfboards. The jetskis are for rescue only.
catfish Oct 28, 2008 Rating: 15
Piere, how long does it take him to get to the bottom of that avalanche? Serious foam ball behind that thing. I would be whishing my toe nails would be pooping through my booties and clamping into my board something crazy on that take off!
balda Oct 28, 2008 Rating: 2
Excellent, the thought of that drop makes me feel nauseus (?)
Pierre Hugo Oct 28, 2008 Rating: 3
yes he makes it! I think this was one of the most important waves he caught to win the competition in the end.. ha i have his rashy hanging in my room!
catfish Oct 28, 2008 Rating: 1
'esus, thats big! Great shot, does he make it?
webfoot125 Oct 27, 2008 Rating: 15
AWESOME !! HOPE HE HAS A GOOD SET OF LUNGS ON HIM, WOULDN'T WANT TO CATCH A RAIL THERE
