yup, - you just about sum up the state of surfing at the mo, which in turn is a reflection of our product and sales based lifestyle.. The hart and vibe is only in the experience, you can't buy or sell that shit, even if you are Jimi.

Is this the place Hendrix was going to buy? but he took to much acid and didn't bother? Imagine owning that wave, I'd have security all over it, a MCdonalds and subway on the corner and I'd be charging you all £15 per hour to paddle out. I'm nice like that.

I was here a few days before when it was 15ft+, i reckon there was maybe 200 people lined up all along the rocks hooting and shouting all the chargers out there! Sick waves and sick atmosphere.

....At least you got the barrel first man....but there is something mildly humiliating about getting nailed paddling out....I once got literally washed up on the rocks just up from here....clambering about like a fool trying to get out...to your credit, a broken board makes you look harder though.

K-Man...that's seriously heart wrenching. Amazing wave though...

Great wave. After getting the deepest standup barrel I've ever had, I was making my way back out - duck dived the next wave but did'nt go deep enough ( to casual ) sucked up n over broke my fav board clean in two, never saw the other half again.
