i have surfed newquay in board shorts to its not that bad but i live in north devon so there isnt that much of a difference(i only stayed in for about an hour tho)

i don't doubt surfing in Boardshorts at Newquay - it's just i'm pretty sure that shot came from one his Oxbow trips to the Carribean. Pity he only got to the third round in Cali. Still he's the best chance we have of a UK World Surf champ. Come on Skinner!!

As much as i agree with noserider, id just like to point out ive surfed newquay in boardshorts. But then i usually surf off the NE Coast, so newquay feels like the frickin tropics to me!
