ps -- The biggest the surf ever gets in CA is about 1.5 feet. Any photos that appear to show bigger surf are photoshopped.
Apparently theres a lot of conservative bigots in cali too (see prop 8) but thats not stopping me from moving there. Its undoubtedly one of the most diverse, beautiful and exciting states in the country and one gets tired of dealing with crappy waves, cold water and miserable winters after so long.
