- Soutie - twas about 3 weeks now. - 39 you were right. i felt i could try harder next time though. Ya need the septic's and ozzies on board for a good one though. They seem to have issues over who rides the biggest as though it is the smallest particularly with giant cojones (come on?). Me .... i prefer ones that i can tuck into a pair of undies and not drag round like a sack of hairy veg. Any suggestions where i could go and join a current slanging match - "Is this the room for an argument?"

Tom and Gerry , you are wrong, this is Tarquin, Charles and Phillip founder members of the hardcore Royal St Andrews University Surfing Club Old boys. They all come from Chelmsford.

Ah Soutie, You do need to key in the windchill factor for Scotland. It makes a world of difference. I am further North of these guys and my last session with no boots or gloves was getting uncomfortable but this was due to the windchill as the water was ok. oh, Is this going to start one of those endless comment streams of who is the most hardcore idiot .....? Sometimes entertaining, but i cannot believe that in this day and age some of the arguments that still manage to take place here - stand-up is harder than boogers, locals deserve more respect due to the size of their social ineptitude etc and so on. ah well there we go....

i see from the report for this spot that the water is a mellow 9 degrees, so not that hard really.
