sqirl Dec 15, 2008 Rating: 0
That is exactly what he would say right before he says, "It is just dredging of sand fools!, I came all the way to earth for this shit! I was right in the middle missus planet giving me a BJ"

They do This in Fl to "replenish" the beaches, AKA keep the tourists happy. They suck it from offshore and pump it on the beach, which ultimately all erodes away and ends back where mother opcean put it in the frist place, then they do it all over again. Great use of tax-payers money. Not to mention the ecological dammage it does to teh coral reefs. Boo to dreding!

it must be a chinese vessel. Every time I eat chinese i have a similar spray.
Danny Bastiaanse Dec 15, 2008 Rating: 2

s-core Dec 15, 2008 Rating: 4
im sorry, but if i was that guy with a ship that close pumping crap out of it, i would move to another spot down the coast!

"Greenpeacy" = The peace of bread that you make a sandwich with only to find after the first bite has become a very productive mold farm.

Check my site for more pics of the holy A-frame maker, from a different angle. http://www.arts-pictures.nl/Images/2008%2012/2008%2012%2007%20Surf%20Domburg/index.html At this moment the sand supply created a couple of good breaks ("good" as in Holland "good").As locals we are wondering how long it will take until mother ocean has moved all the sand again. The current is quite storng over there.
soutie Dec 15, 2008 Rating: 5
went out with a dutch bird once. she used to wear inflatable shoes. sad story though, she popped her clogs.
soutie Dec 15, 2008 Rating: 0
domburg, does that mean stupid mountain ? didnt know there were mountains in holland
spongefreak Dec 15, 2008 Rating: -1
Thats not sand thats sediment, both natural and from the s*** that the so called civilised nations pump into the North Sea, it probably contains high levels of sewage and toxic waste. Shower anyone??????
Ironside Dec 15, 2008 Rating: 7
Rover420 the ocean can think for itself, that's why it put the sand where it did in the first place and is exactly why it'll put it back there in due course.
Kiwi John Dec 15, 2008 Rating: 0
He's got a long wait for that sand bar to start pumping, the bow wave of that mother might be a good interim ride! I thought it was waste or shit at first and came over all Greenpeacey!
DTeichman Dec 15, 2008 Rating: 2
just so you guys know their adding a sand bar there, basically their adding sand dredged up from the bottom and piling it up there could mean better or worse break. they did this and added sand to my beach here in Fl but i do agree with that one guy who said it that the ocean could speak for its self. it kinda sucks here now cuz the break changes every i me theres a storm and now theres MAD current between the sand bar and shore here now and its imposable to maintain a spot in the best break and so much harder to paddle out (so nothing toxic being done here)
mookesh griffin Dec 15, 2008 Rating: 0
It maybe sand, but look at the colour of it,Years of shitty oil sediment. looks like diarrhoea.
rover420 Dec 15, 2008 Rating: 4
too bad the ocean cant think for itself. I bet it woulda had its way with everyone on that ship.
Danny Bastiaanse Dec 14, 2008 Rating: -1
@ Mystery shopper Thats what happens here to, but they also do it like this photo shows
rachmurt Dec 14, 2008 Rating: -1
Wow, my face and heart totally dropped there for an instant when i thought that it was effluent they were pumping out.....thanks for clarifying that it's sand-a strongly worded comment was being formulated in my mind until i read your post
Charles Auty Dec 14, 2008 Rating: 13
They do a similar thing at El Palmar here in Spain and it makes the beach nice but the waves poor at high tide. The difference is they pump the water (with the sand suspended in it) onto the beach itself. The water runs off leaving the sand and happy sun seekers but sad surfers. I think it has all washed away again now though after the latest storms.
Danny Bastiaanse Dec 14, 2008 Rating: -1
hehe, it is sand suckt up miles away and then dropt nearby the shoreline. To make the coast stronger, but i don't believe it really helps.. but its no toxic, its just sand.. and the waves where pretty good that day for our standards, like headhigh and clean
nutgraphics Dec 14, 2008 Rating: 0
Ah! The 'Queen of the Netherlands' doing her thing again, dredging the guts from the shipping channel to permit even larger oil-spilling vessels easy access to our ports and fishing grounds. Mankind be proud!
mitchyvas Dec 14, 2008 Rating: -4
yea im not sure either but whatever it is thers no way they should be allowed to do that.
PSALM 77:19 Dec 14, 2008 Rating: 0
That looks toxic I hope it's dredging oh yeah where are the waves? I would not be in the water near whatever the heck that is without at least head high barrels!
