Somewhere in the Eastern Cape

Man, I got into some deep shit at wilderness the last time I surfed there, at the time I was only surfing for like 6 months I surfed in this area right next to Kaimans, it was breaking and then reforming, and I was right in the middle of the breaking and reforming part, waiting for a lag in the sets to paddle out, oblivios to the current dragging me towards the rivermouth. I saw where I was, and I started paddling back frantically, I couldn't get back into the bay, and was forced to paddle my heart out towards the breaking line, praying for my life that I can paddle into the breaking line, so that the waves can wash me towards a little pool that I saw, eventually I got to it, and I climbed out, in shock, I climbed up towards a fisherman. I was shit scared, and developed a fear of the place, not to mention, it kept me scared of the ocean for months to come, but luckely I came over my fear quite recently. I actually surfed kaimans a few days later (or it was a few days before, not sure.), but I doubt I'll surf wilderness any time soon. (I'd rather go take a walk in the jungle anyway.)
