HAHA yeah... I snot more than a toddler when i am in the water. I was surfing fistral on Monday 5th Jan and it was so cold the beach sand had actually frozen rock hard... sitting out in the back for longer than 5-10min and your hair started to freeze too... insane. Coldest surf i ever had.

lines of foam snaking up the face, just to coil up and come pounding down, spray feathering off the lip and crackling onto the back of the wave. got to love the sounds of good surf.

Since this is September it's not that cold but where are the rest of the guys that were surely on the Emerald Isle at the time, all down in Clare hunting virgin slabs?

Crap that looks cold... imagine paddling for one those and then falling off the back - the spray in your face would freeze the snot already running over your top lip...

The first to comment, OH MY GOD, PRESSURE, what shall I say? er...... ummmmm.... it's a bit windy...... looks like it's holding up for a few hollow ones, a rare treat at the left indeed, good times for the lucky and brave few.
