Rubbish the only accceptable form of measurement for everything is sqirl nut equivalents or SNEs! For example...the temp out side would be -0.43 SNEs....and the length of your teeny weeny would be 2.45 SNEs....the weight of paddy's skull would be 4,009,675,876 SNEs....One day the world will come to its senses!

Crap !!!! I use the true measure of temperature, Kelvin. I also measure the wave size in feet. Now my wee lad wears a size 29 french, which is about a size 3 south african, so measuring the back of the wave, which is the only true measure, I generally surf 8 ft'ers, which is like 16 ft to you pussies who use the incorrect front measure. if however, i use the standard clown size 58 as a measure of wave height we are talking about a 4 inch wave which roughly corresponds to the size of my willy, when measured along the top, which is the only true measure. Diameter is actually a more important measure due to technical reasons that would only be understood by us experts. This is to avoid the much feared last hotdog in the tin effect.

Right then! In the UK winter temps are between 3 - 6 c, 18-20 summer. Portugal in winter drops to about 9-10c with temps rising to about 20-22 in summer. So the water in Portugal is almost the same in summer partly due to shallow waters off the coast of the UK. Again being shallow and the gulf stream thingy boosting the temps in the summer making our waters almost as warm as Portugal. (I think)
