I was just wondering, what is a good, cheap camera to start out with? I want to make movies of me and my friends bodyboarding. It needs to be able to be watertight at least a little deep. Most of the shots will be shorebreak. Any suggestions?

i do a bit of off shore sailing and when i was in oz. jan time we where sailing south from coffs about 25miles off shore around port stevens.wind went from 5m to 100 m in about five. did not even have time to get the sails down. wind on blue water dont play like wind on the land. good picture dude

I have seen these twisters form over the ocean but I have never seen one this organized and touching the water or this close to land. Its real.

this does happen there was a small one around the eddystone lighthouse offshore from where i live a few years ago. i think there just tornadoes that have got water swirling about in them instead of dust and stuff?

Fuck sake,k cant find it on the munster express website! But there was a swarl in Waterford a couple of months ago. And the owner of one of the local surf shops was out kitesurfing,when it happened,he got dragged across the road,and hit the skate park fence! And ended up in hospital for about 2months with broken ribs and pelvis. Also in the city,3 cars got toppled and some roofs off the houses! Was on the news??? Any tramore boy will back me up with this.

something similar happened in your town! and afterwards your town got hit by a stunami and then the local volcanoe erupted! or maybe your being a drama queen cos that does not happen here
