I was just wondering, what is a good, cheap camera to start out with? I want to make movies of me and my friends bodyboarding. It needs to be able to be watertight at least a little deep. Most of the shots will be shorebreak. Any suggestions?

Cant beleive people making a seen, of course it is cave rock. It gets crowded but amazing everytime i used to wake up early morning dawnie, there was always maybe one or two poeple out. Also when it gets big the kooks watch it so who cares if people know where it is. If the wave dont get you maybe a bluffet will or some outie will rob you later on. Brwaaaaaaap brwaaap power punch from da bluff innit!!!

It isnt really a secret spot, no. But at the same time it is not a good idea to over-advertise you local spot. Especially on an international scale. Friends tell friends who tell their friends etc and before you know it you have hawaiian style crowds hassling for waves when its good. If I was a local here I sure as hell wouldnt be telling the world how good it is.

Think about it would you rather surf good waves with 20 guys in the water or with 100 guys in the water. When its pumping the first thing most people do is phone their buddies to tell them. The more people who check the spot the more people you have phoning their buddies etc etc etc. Simple maths.
