to the intern that keeps deleting me: That sure was fast! You are getting pretty good at this! You can thank me for all the extra overtime you are getting scouring the threads for that gotdam cyber insurgent sqirl at furrytreerat@gmail.com. Or negotiate terms for a truce. I got nothing better to do so to victor goes the spoils.

mad Props on that Revolution beegeeweed surfer (sure hope I spelled your name right) really put your own Spin on it didnt you? Still i dont know if I would Thrust (silent h) you to be Propelled to the top of the Rotatings (silent ot) with that comment. VP is going to have to sue me for PUNitive damages for stealing his fire.

I've seen your pic ( http://magicseaweed.com/photoLab/viewPhoto.php?photoId=115406 ) , great example. But I just cant work this one out. It appears to be a small wave ? Where is the bottom , it must be shallow ? Why is there white wash on the backside of the tube if it is a shot of a pitching tube ! Is it breaking towards camera or from behind ?

bring on the negatives....the Roughness i C is Constant! Sorry I couldnt compress these two comments into one but the subject of water is incompressible!

Now you are speaking my language Viscous Pipet! i will probably receive voluminous Hazen for this comment but try to use your Head and negate any losses due to Friction. I will try to relieve the Pressure you must be feeling by keeping an Open Channel of communication. I really am Manning up for this pun off! Is it because I am Weis? Bach to reality, right? Sorry but i am feeling a bit Moody because no one is going to get any of those puns........If I have to I can draw you a Diagram.

if you stare really really hard and infuse a little imagination this could easily be what it looks like at an extratterresstrial alien NORML convention. Bing it? no i dont think so bill gates, more like Binger it!
Jacob Cockle Feb 6, 2010 Rating: 1
Its real hard say, this photo was taken on the inside section where the wave size can get pretty random as it mutates and sucks dry, If I remember correctly this day was pretty average, maybe 5 on sets and super fun ramps al over the place, Love Confital
kola Feb 5, 2010 Rating: 1
yeah I neg rated you, what you gonna do about it? It may be legal to kill other furry animals but cute little kolas are protected by the law.
kola Feb 5, 2010 Rating: 1
The unbelievable artistry of this picture more than makes up for the lameness of this thread! Sickest of the sick! i am talking bubonic plague sickness! even better yet resident evil sickness! if you stare at to long you turn into a surf starved wave killing zombie!!!!

quoting the wisest of msw sages here>>>> "whos that ? hmmmm... squirl ? nope, never heard of him."
kola Feb 5, 2010 Rating: 2
is this how all american newcomers are treated on this site? Verbally Eviserated by a french clown of the blue oyster persuasion? What next persecution by the creator? Back to my spread sheet maybe excel can entertain me without hurting my profile or deleting my feelings.

There is a surf movie "sound of waves" that probably 50% of the movie is underwater slow-motion video. Really one of the more original surf flicks i have ever seen. This wave reminded me of it.

In the vortex. Great pic. Reminds me of getting caught inside at pipe.

It looks like jellyfish shagging a cloud underwater. I like it - kinky

Ah i see what you mean, i thought you were in the barrel. To be honest the view is never that good! more like a bisto gravy swirl....i should shut my eyes more.
KIMBALINOS Feb 4, 2010 Rating: 1
that's kinda what I meant, except I have my eyes closed, with my hands on my head hoping my fins dont slice me!!
wishihadanickname Feb 4, 2010 Rating: 4
I see this veiw all the time.... followed by my head thumping on the sand and half a board in my ear! you don't know what you are missing:)
ahinalu Feb 4, 2010 Rating: 1
That whole concept is bs..."the first person to get these shots". Bill Delaney did it in 1977 with his movie Free Ride.
cyberfella Feb 4, 2010 Rating: 1
amazing - the only time i've seen these "runners" as i call them (air vortices) is on underwater images of teahupoo, or underwater video footage of teahupoo, for example on mike stewarts somewhat bizarre movie "Fire". Nice catch Mr Cockle, I'm well impressed with that.
Kieran100 Feb 4, 2010 Rating: 1
sick man never seen so many vortexes in such detail within a wave! great photo
tonfawr Feb 4, 2010 Rating: 2
Your photographs are such a step above what I usually expect from surf shots. like the difference between channel 5's documentaries to BBC's planet earth. Keep them coming!
