Ha ha, these comments are classic! Me and a mate had desserts last year pretty much as good as it gets (according to an ozzy guy who has lived on the island for 15yrs) 6-8ft, but it was an absolute nightmare, 30 plus brazzos, peruvians etc all squidding each other and everyone out there. Getting nailed by the reef cause someone just almost took your nose of your board of and having to take it on the head. There was no one out there at kempt, thats the difference seeing a perfect wave like that with no one in sight a rarety these days!

Anyway pugzi, i just checked the records and it was a 4.5 star according to magic s, and they are always really useful and helpful for finding that perfect wave. i think it was one of those northerly swells from birminham which gave long rides and opened up the barrals.

Dont want to get aggresive over such a lame wave, but yes I can stand up, and im not what you called me ok! I just want to point out I have seen better waves than that for sure, but everyone has their own opinion. Have you checked Plemont today? Best wave I seen in 30 years there today...

Hello everyone, Well i must say there is some interesting comments on here. Well lets start with this day was not the best day of the year. I have seen better days in the summer. I was watchiing with my friends 24 hours a day for a week. To be fair we did watch the wave with a suppose '3 barrals', but my friends and I were watching closely and none of them were a barral or even close, just because its offshore think people have a got a bit exited, so please everyone can you calm down, and surf because you love it, not to talk shit about it. This set totally pumped through. After taking these pics, Ben who shot them, paddled out to this usually overlooked spot and promptly got three barrels on his first wave. A classic week on the rock!
