Looks insane. I'm sure the lads out the back paid heavily for any bomb they did get. Remember though, this' the first time in a looong time that this place has looked anything like this... important point if you're thinking of travelling, you could get skunked for months at a time, even in winter.

This was the first time I was in Bundy, the first time I saw Pampa and it was the only wave I didnt attempt to surf that trip..

"Mc" originates from "mac". Its Gaelic for son. And everyone hates everyone on the internet. :)

Look dude/know nothing.. UK and Ireland have some of the gnarliest spots in the world. example aileens, reillys.. waves you couldnt surf at 2ft. So dont bother dissing our waves and surfers until you can surf a beach break let alone a reef. Im a grom and i reckon i could surf better than you

Why not put your money where you mouth is Slaterwanab, this site is all about posting pictures of surf; so lets be seeing one of you on a double overheader! You're all piss and wind as me old man would say...

I'm pretty sure the "haha" at the end means he was being sarcastic. But seriously, you guys are getting into a pissing match over who has the biggest surf? All that needs to be said is that wave is serious and looks like a effing rush to surf. I'm just glad they're paddling in, respect for that alone (especially these days, it's almost like surfing's become a motorized sport).

I have surfed that wave a bit and almost every time I arrived in the car park there was blood comming out of some dude the had just hit the bottom , its very shallow and at that size there it demands alot o respect hence there only being 3 dudes out . Pussies my ass

yeah but you all wear suits in summer, and hoods, gloves and booties in winter (I assume you're from California since most other US surfers are cool) when you really don't need to. You guys got soft. And Ireland has way better spots than the US, cause they're not full of crappy (I have respect for the talented ones) longboarders who take off way out the back and ride the shoulder cause they can't do much else. Rant over

alejjak's avatar

alejjak Oct 6, 2010 Rating: -4

really ?! last time i checked we actually made this sport popular and gave it the name, and yeah we get even bigger waves over here ... not even counting Hawaii's monsters

gemini Oct 6, 2010 Rating: 2

so easy to to talk, so hard to do... you dont get too many proper waves like that in the US so guess you just havent a clue... this particular ex-secret spot will kick your ass at 4ft, and thats a solid one too!
