Wow another epic Hawaii shot! This shot also sums up what surfing on the north shore is all about. I don't care how many peruvians or mexicans want to claim surfing started in their countries. Hawaii broke that gap between catching waves to deliver the days catch and riding waves as part of a culture and entertainment. So f**k off.

I'm not one to jump on the "photoshop" band wagon but make space in the wagon people! That dude at the back is twice the size of the middle guy, he's further away from the camera so perspective says he should be smaller unless, of course, he is an actual giant. Haven't ruled out the middle guy being a midget though.

Maybe the middle guy is nicknamed 'Twiggy' for a reason. Not up on the big wave chargers/pros these days, so I actually don't know. I'm not seeing a perspective problem, though. That's a telephoto lens shot from a long distance away and those guys aren't that far apart. I wouldn't expect the deeper guy, Kala, to appear noticeably smaller at this shots angle and distance...shot with a telephoto lens. Maybe if shot up close where depth & foreground/background is more noticeable

Could be some kinda optical illusion due to the flatter angle of his board compared to the other guys...but yes its does look weird now you mention it....its like when you think the moon looks huge...its actucally the same size as it always is. Apparently its all about perspective.
