You have to just love it when your board speed chatters over that texture.

feels like a wall of platinum, with sky. A chunck of iron pyritese but not fools gold. You really have to be there. Maybe it`s karma. Time. Place... Space. Don`t go, it`ll be busy. Fantastic shot though ...

Bali Trader, You are 100% right dude. THis winter is the best i can remember ever. It has been so consistant and those relly rare spots have been pumping non stop :)

Yeah a bunch of my mates back in cornwall have said they've been scoring all winter. Heading back for a few weeks in summer and really hoping to get some waves. Having indo on your doorstep is great but nothing beats surfing your local breaks with a handful of good friends.

Judging by all the recent photographs on this site over the last couple of months, its becomming very clear i chose to move to Asia at the worst possible time and have missed one of the most consistent winters in european history. Uk and Ireland seem to have been blessed with swell after swell and some of the shots from spain and france have just looked all time. Is this true? Either way, congrats to my fellow chargers back home for scoring some great waves.

It has been a feast and famine winter along the south coast (Bournemouth area) Swell after swell to start then bugger all. Like you say Feb was non stop surf but now it has stopped and it aint coming back any time soon. 1ft of wind blown slop today but best its been for weeks. Best get on it.

Well almost Feb was super consistent, big swell and big periods sweeping across the Atlantic and then North past Scotland, but I would say December was disappointing and Jan was O.K so you really missed out on a month and a half of super swells. (This is from a South Coast point of view - requiring a large SW/W swell and a good period)

I can see one good foot hold and two decent hand holds - overhang looks tricky
