relax everyone!! if you look closely you'll see this IS an important surf pic, thats a picture of Tom Curren doing the very first ever recorded on film "dive under". i know there's been rumors that it may have been done before, but just because someone goes under water as a wave passes over and pops back up on the other side, doesnt mean a thing w/out the proof. Thanks Tom Curren, i'm going to go work on this new trick now

if you dont appreciate this picture thats stupid because anyone who truly loves to surf can appreciate any pic of the ocean or a wave even if it doesnt include some guy on a shorty doing spins off the lip.you guys probably just surf because you think your friends will think its cool not because you really like it. longboarders for life B!@#H

I'm going to tell you what I think about this on going debate -, not that many people will care what I think - but I will tell you anyway. So this photo has been related to as none surfing. I ask myself 'why does this picture have nothing to do with surfing?'. Well I think it has a lot to do with surfing, for starters a wave! How many pics do you see with no surfers but an empty wave? Essentially this is that but from a view point that not many of us brits (and our dirty water) get to see. I for one love this pic and it could only be made better if there was a girl in it, preferably naked.

Any dork with a camera can also take a picture of a wave with noone on it... Its just from a different perspective man, it is a picture of a wave nevertheless... If it was in a swimming pool however...
