It's actually about 1-2ft. Calling it 2ft is being nice. Look round the bay in the background. It is breaking ON the beach... basically lapping the shore. One of those small summer days.

....i totally agree about the sandbank waiting in 2ft of water...but it just looks so superb ealy mornings with the offshore...
