This looks like the wave in front of the old pool ?? When I was studying in Sea Point I spend many an afternoon staring at this wave during lunchtimes. Sometimes it breaks so perfect, even in small swell. I would stand there sizing it up, analysing, trying to convince myself that it is actually surfable, and not to close to the rocks. But alas, until they invent some kind of surfing body armour this one should not be attempted.

judging by the rocks in the foreground, and along the entire sea point shoreline, i would have to agree with you.
