Cool, I guess I'll just have to add Butch to facebook and see whats up.
Adam Rondelet1429 days ago +2 Rating Rate Positive Rate Negative
So you know Butch. Where is he working these days? Is Butch into surfing?
Adam Cornick1427 days ago +1 Rating Rate Positive Rate Negative
Yeah, Butch surf now and again. I think he wants to get out there more. He works downtown on Hollis. Great latest pic on here by the way.

Hey Adam...Love your pics of Cow Bay and Lawrencetown. Thanks for sharing them. I need to check out your other pics on your website also sometime. I have tried in the past to find info. about surfing the upper reaches of the Bay of Fundy tidal bore, but Google hasn't been much help...other than showing several whitewater rafting outfits/concessions. Do you have any personal knowledge or pics of any places(ie. rivers connected to the Bay)in western Nova Scotia(or in New Brunswick)where any tidal bore surfing is actually possible?...Just curious.

Hi Bud, (can't remember how to spell it) I don't know a whole lot about it to be honest. Let me make some enquiries from people who grew up over that way and I'll get back to you if I know of anything. I don't think you'll be getting anything like the Search team scored in Indo, that's for sure! I have surfed in a river in Montreal though, that was a cool experience. There's footage on YouTube that people have posted, certainly not worth a massive road trip, but if you are ever visiting that amazing city, take a board : )

Hey dude I was thinking about taking a trip up to Nova Scotia, 2 questions: What is the best time to go wave wise and water temperature wise? Thanks
Adam Cornick1690 days ago +2 Rating Rate Positive Rate Negative
If you can leave it last minute, then head here when you know that there are waves coming. Make it a hurricane swell if you can, as there'll be waves everywhere. Bring as much wetsuit as you can. It won't really be too warm for 5/3 from now until next summer, even thicker if you have it and a built in hood is a must for winter. You'll need 7mm boots for winter and mits. Give me a shout when you're up here and we'll get some waves.

Alright thanks a bunch man, I don't know for sure if I am coming up to NS. I just wanted to get some information on it from some one who has experienced the waves first hand. But from all your pics it is a possibility for a vacation of mine in the near future! Thanks bro.

are all your photos of Lawrence Town or are they secret spots
Adam Cornick1704 days ago +2 Rating Rate Positive Rate Negative
All the ones on MSW are of where they say they are. Lawrencetown has quite a few different breaks. As far as I know, there aren't any secret spots about ; )

Thanks, that was a nice surprise winning that. I've got to get the printer they gave me up and running and try it out. There is a competition in the mag in September, tons of prizes, so get entering.

yeah looking forward to it when it comes our way!
NYsurfer131760 days ago +3 Rating Rate Positive Rate Negative
amazing photos dude, they make me wanna jump on a plane and head right to nova scotia. 2 questions, does it get good there that often and what camera do you use? thanks.
Adam Cornick1757 days ago +1 Rating Rate Positive Rate Negative
Hi mate, sorry for not checking my profile page sooner. It does get good fairly often in the winter, but that obviously comes with the downside of very cold conditions. Hurricane season can provide some nice waves in warmer temperatures in and out of the water. I only show shots that are well known spots, but it's a big coastline. I shoot with a Canon 30D, but I'm saving hard for the 7D, which by all accounts is pretty damn fine, with HD video too!

cool thanks dude see you in the water!
