That's a great view.
Mac Never Quite that size but I have ducked a few Vlarge bombs over the years. If you are in in front of the reef you normaly don't have to go that deep just past the trough depth of the wave will do it and save your energy for the rest of the set. On a wave like that we are still talking 15-20 ft mind you. If you are over the reef forget it even diving down 20ft+ and lying on the reef you can get sucked right up again and then you find out why you did all that free dyving in the summer. Not to look at fish, but to be around for another wave like that.
I must be getting old. I'm only mad. These guys are barkin. New format is great, would be better still if you could get staight to any pic.
Have to say the jet ski's were a little anoying/unnecessary. Good days surf though & the vid to remind us all kind of makes up for it. Hoping, like many, for a extra meter or two on next weeks swell.
That was a very pleasant little swell running yesterday. Most enjoyable.

Don't no what all the fuss is about. I'm guessing that's what he was trying to do. Great fun, the only time Towan is worth a look is when it's bouncing of the sea wall. To try and answer the question whats he thinking, most likely trying to land upright, as it's about two feet deep when you come down from there. Great Phot!
