No not purely relative. A five degree difference in Fahrenheit can be significant in a demonstrative way, however Celsius hardly acknowledges the incremental change. In other words 1 degree of celcius represents a range of Fahrenheit increments.

I'll admit the metric system is superior to our way of measurement in almost every way, however Celsius versus Fahrenheit -theres no comparison. Celsius is not nearly as accurate, the difference between degrees is massive in relation to farenheit.

Yeah man I've been spending time in Maryland and I'm fookin sick of the damn snow, this is beyond ridiculous. We've gotten more snow (by far) this winter than in any other winter on record. It beyond crazy.

Average global temps actually on the rise, past five years had some of the warmest on record. But alas the northeast here at home gets a blizzard in winter, as the northeast is wont to do in February and all the science deniers get all wet with excitement...

Haha, I know what you mean. I'm stuck in Westminster, MD right now. Total snow fall for this area so far this winter: around 80 some inches. Sux, totally bogus.

	First, I don't even know what a "trustafarian" is. But if its anything like a rastafarian, then we probably have some common ground. Second, I don't live in the suburbs -never have. Third, I'm not politically correct at all, although I do have a degree in political science. Fourth, why "stay the course" when King Bush already declared "mission accomplished!".
