I thought for sure this was Jorge Valenzuela, but guess not. Great photo, awesome wave. Should be photo of the day instead of that guy in South Africa wearing a lifejacket and getting towed into a wave half the size of this.

That was the only thing i could think of to possibly justify getting towed into that. But why is he wearing a lifejacket?!?!? Not photo of the day, more like joke of the day. The pic of the guy that paddled into the bomb at Las Flores is much more deserving of photo of the day

Set waves were 15ft+. I find the GoPro makes everything look a lot smaller than it really is, but the shot of my buddy dropping in gives the best perspective to the actual size. His board is a 9'2". I couldn't believe the drops he was making on that beast.
