Your company and its name really lives up to its meaning. My wife and I had an absolutely incredible time on our 3 adventures with you on our honeymoon from Texas. I was completely impressed how you came to meet me in the line up at Avellanas the first morning. Being from Texas and surfing alone it was a great feeling to have a friend with me in the line up at a strong beach break I had never surfed before. That is the kind of attention and service you can expect when you go on a “Boos†adventure!
Soon as we boarded the 27 foot fully decked out panga, Captn Christian made us feel totally welcome and right at home as if I were with one of my fishing buddies back home. My goal on our fishing adventure was to catch some fish for the restaurant we were staying at to cook for us and early on I could tell there was no way Captn Christian was going to stop fishing that day until we had our fish. At 9:00 a.m. I had had my mahi and was knocking back Imperial’s eating turkey sandwiches and freshly cut pineapple that was off the hook. We later found out that from all of the many boats that day fishing the Catalina Islands that I was the only guy to land a single fish. Personally I think it was because we were the first boat to reach the fishing grounds that morning which is a key factor to success back home.
Our surfing adventure “boat trip†to Witch’s Rock was my very first boat trip after almost 25 years of surfing and goodness did we score. First stop at Ollie’s Point was incredible and Captn Christian literally sat right beside me to make sure I scored the best waves. After the crowds showed and waiting for the right tide we immediately then boated to Witch’s. Again Captn Christian sat with me for a couple sets making sure I was in the best position and we both started to score some sick rides. He was going right and me left on what were some of the fastest waves I’ve ever ridden. I’m also completely impressed how he stayed in the water which pushed me to stay in the water longer which equaled more killer waves getting the absolute most out of my boat trip adventure.
The day before we left back to Texas was our third outing with Boos Adventures. Having never been snorkeling before and being a water man my entire I life I was stoked to go see some fish up close. Captn Christian took us to a secluded cove with amazing scenery with giant cliffs, huge caves you could swim into, and crystal clear water where you could see the bottom in 20 feet of water. It must have been my day because not 15 minutes out of the boat a 4 foot manta ray swam right by me, not to mention the yellow and orange triggerfish, the huge school of transparent mullet, and black and turquoise angle fish to name a few. These guys really do it right and I would highly recommend a Costa Rican Boos Adventure with Capt Christian and his crew to anyone I know. Needless to say my wife and I are already planning our trip back next year for hopefully another amazing “Boos Adventureâ€!
