Indocean Surf Charters's Profile
I run a 12 berth 70ft Balinese style outrigger surf charter boat around Lembongan, Lombok, The Gillis and Sumbawa. Taking in the much photographed and loved Ship Wrecks, Desert Point, Scar Reef, Supersucks and YO-YOs to name a few. A great trip and a great job! Check out my pics for some rip-curl crew scoring 8ft Scar and showing us how its done!

Relaxation Top-side we have a huge chill area that’s kept nice and cool by our canvas canopy, with plenty of cushions and lounge mats. The area is well lit at night and every meal is enjoyed in this space with ocean and volcanic isles as your back-drop. The galley and chef are always at your disposal should you need a quick feed from our restaurant quality menu.

The Trip Day 1: Morning pick up at Serangan Harbour, steam straight for Lembongan to sample Ship Wrecks, Lacerations and Playgrounds. Overnight steam to south western corner of Lombok.
Day 2: Wake up at the fabled Desert point, surf it when its on and move on when its not. Weather permitting head round the southern side of Lombok to sample the un-crowded breaks as well as the famous ones such as Ekas. Weather not permitting we head up to Gilli Trawangan which offers great snorkling with Turtles, great night-life and a cheeky little right-hand reef break.
Day 3: Wake up with the sunrise at Yo-Yos in Sumbawa. Surf the epic right till the wind comes in and then head round the west side of the island for some sheltered Super Suck and Scar Reef for the rest of the day.
Day 4/5/6: Similar setup to day 3. Start at Yo-Yos then explore the other breaks in the region. These days are defined by you and which waves you like the best. Its your trip.
Day 7: Start to head back with the same weather restrictions it may be a day time cruise along the south or a night time steam round the top of Lombok, either way, you will get a second shot at Desert point. Night time steam to Lembongan.
Day 8: Morning and lunch at the Lembongan breaks for your wind down session and then drop off at Serangan harbour at 4pm with a boardbag full of stoke!

"I have been on many surf trips in my time (27 years of surfing) and this was the best. The crew were all-time, nothing was too much trouble. The food was killer, the surf was sublime. Too good!" Patrick Hill, Sydney, Australia
"Russell and the crew have made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped onboard. Our trip has been a highlight of my surfing experiences and Russell ensures that everyone is looked after from the beginners to the experts. Thanks for everything and I am sure we will be back. PS The Gilly Islands are a must!" Matt Adderton, Sydney, Australia
