Masonboro Island NC is a great surf spot in NC I think it gets better then Cape Hatteras. I surfed some mega slabs out thier clear and warm water and slabs. It will break way out side their is two sandbars one outside and one inside. So when we had hurricane Andrew,Emley,Bertha all out their at the same time it was going off. This spot will break outside then will barrel in shallow water and spit. So you can get the waves way outside and stand up with no problem and just get pited. When it start's to pitch I love this break. You guys need to have it in the North Carolina Surf Report
