Hey man, I seen your post about being an expert of the wind in order to find peak conditions. Do you know of any sites/books to understand the basics of the wind? I want to find those prime days at my local spot.

Hey! Don't laugh but I just moved here from Hawaii and can't imagine life without surfing...even if there's snow on the ground outside. I wouldn't try surfing here without someone else, but I don't know anyone who surfs here. Do you know anyone who wouldn't mind someone tagging along for a surf session?
Hey man if you ever need a surf buddy just let me know. I live in Madison and I come to Milwaukee, Racine and Sheboygan a couple of times per month to surf when the conditions are okay. Shoot me a line if you head out as I too find myself surfing alone quite often and it can be sketchy...

Looks class. Over in Chicago from Ireland for 5 weeks on business. I surf back home and would love to try surfing the lakes. Its been over a week since I surfed back home and i am starting to get withdrawal symptoms. I need to get back in the water :-)Is there somewhere I can hire the gear etc?
